Epping Stick-Down Herringbone: Where It Works Best
Epping gives you the look of natural wood in a practical, hard-wearing luxury vinyl herringbone block. Its slim 2.5mm profile makes it ideal where floor height matters, such as next to existing floors or under doors, and the 0.7mm wear layer is built for busy family homes, kitchens and hallways.
A realistic wood look
An embossed-in-register texture follows the grain of the printed design, so the surface looks and feels like real timber rather than flat vinyl. The 2.5 x 100 x 400mm blocks are laid in a classic herringbone pattern for a timeless parquet look at a fraction of the upkeep.
Installation
This floor is fully adhered (glued down) to a smooth, level, prepared subfloor. The glued installation gives a low-profile, solid feel underfoot. Subfloor preparation is key, so we recommend a professional fitter.
Caring for Epping
Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove grit, and clean with a damp mop and a cleaner suitable for luxury vinyl flooring. Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entrances to help keep it looking its best.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see a sample first?
Yes. We always recommend seeing the floor in your own light before ordering. You can order a flooring sample of Epping online, or contact us for advice.
How much flooring should I order?
Measure the area in square metres and allow extra for cuts (herringbone usually needs a slightly larger allowance than planks). Each pack covers 2.89 m². Our team can help you work out the right quantity.
Can Epping be used with underfloor heating?
Suitability for underfloor heating depends on the system and how the floor is installed. Get in touch and we will confirm the right approach for Epping in your home.
